What is it about family that makes you want to crawl in a hole for a while with a snack and some sort utensil? Perhaps that only happens to me, but I find myself feeling the urge to hide away at the moment. I absolutely love my sister but we're so alike and so not alike all at the same time and it just conflicts. I have the need to make something (my own personal coping system) but I'm not at home with all my programs. I could write but I'm just not in a writing mood. I haven't been lately. Perhaps because my angst is gone. *shrugs* Ok, we're having movie time now so I better run. I have big plans for actually submitting again when I get home. Later.

I feel a little sorry for those people who live all their lives in one place. I dated a guy in Kansas who was living a block from where he grew up, in a house where his mom grew up. I mean, I got to live in Italy. Of course, the fact that I moved about every 3 years or so made best friends for life a bit difficult when I was little. Still, I have some great memories.

Ah, fellow military brat. ; ) My dad was coast guard. I was born in TX, lived in NJ and grew up mostly in MD before I ran off to college.

I'm in Texas now for work, though it will be a 9 month timespan, and then I'm off skedaddling around the nation again.

A little bit of both actually. I was originally born in Florida. My mom was in the army however and we moved quite a bit. I went to highschool in Colorado but left, got my GED and moved to Kansas for a few years. After that it was Texas for a bit and then one day I decided to move back to Colorado. Who knows why. What brought you to Texas if you don't mind me asking?

As am I, supposedly. From MD to VA to TX and thence, in a year, to ....points unknown. Except that they'll have mountains, hopefully.

Ladybugs could still be given, had I not let them go because I felt bad. Apologies, miss. Is Colorado a return to homestead or a vastness yet uncharted?
